John C.S. Kepner

John is President of Fenway Health Management Advisors, L.L.C. (www.fenwayadvisors.com), a consulting firm providing executive healthcare business advisory services to hospitals, health systems, physicians and physician groups, with a particular focus on clinical service line development and collaborative ventures with physicians and payors. Mr. Kepner is also Chairman of The Leland Group, LLC which provides strategic, business development and capital formation services for emerging health care businesses which use new technologies to improve quality and patient safety. Mr. Kepner founded The Leland Group, LLC in 2005 with several other executives, including Leland White, former CEO of Main Line Health, Inc., in whose honor the company was named following his death.” Prior to founding Fenway and Leland, Mr. Kepner’s career covered 30 years of business and legal experience. He served as a Senior Vice President for Strategic Initiatives and Network Development and in other executive positions at the University of Pennsylvania Health System from 1993 to 1999. While at Penn, he was the principal architect of the Health System’s network of physicians, community hospitals and several subspecialty physician ventures. During his legal career, Mr. Kepner was a Partner, Executive Committee member and Chair of the Business and Health Law Departments of Saul Ewing, LLP, a mid-Atlantic regional law firm. John is a graduate of Wesleyan University (B.A.) and the University of Pennsylvania Law School (J.D.).

Dr. Bryan Bushick is the founder of Falcon Health Solutions, LLC. His clients typically provide solutions to health care provider and/or payor organizations. Over his 20-plus year career, Dr. Bushick has also held consulting, entrepreneurial and both line and staff senior executive roles, repeatedly demonstrating effective leadership in diverse settings. Prior to founding Falcon Health Solutions in 2004, Dr. Bushick held senior executive positions with CareScience, Inc., Allina Health System and Medica/United HealthCare. Lee Calhoon

Lee Calhoon is President & CEO of Lee Calhoon & Co., an executive search firm which has specialized exclusively in health care since 1970. Lee has conducted workshops and contributes articles to trade and national publications on executive search topics. He is a speaker at national and regional conferences where he lectures on executive recruiting trends and practices and the strategic role which search firms can play for start-up companies; and he has traveled internationally with the presidents of leading HMOs and allied health care companies studying the health care systems of other countries. Recognizing the value in human capital relationships, Lee has successfully utilized his extensive network of C-level contacts to create value by leveraging these connections in the establishment of new businesses and strategic partnerships. In 1997, he co-founded The Nantucket Group, LLC, a health care venture capital fund which has successfully invested in early stage companies. Martin Cane, M.D.

LeRoy Jones

Leroy Jones is former Chief Technology Officer of Care Sciences, Inc., and he helped create the National Health IT Initiative’s architecture as special assistant to Dr. David Brailer when Dr. Brailer established the Office of the National Coordinator of Health Information Technology. In this latter capacity, Lee was instrumental in helping create the nation’s health information architecture and infrastructure, with particular emphasis on the development of regional health information organizations (RHIO’s) and other initiatives to achieve widespread interoperability among clinical systems and electronic data exchange. Robin Kaplan, M.D.

Dr. Kaplan is a principal in FairCode Associates – Leland, LLC, a Leland client, and a physician consultant to hospitals, health plans and other health care organizations. From 1994 through 2004, he served in medical director roles for: United Health Group, ElderHealth and Preferred Health Network (Baltimore, MD); GW University Health Plan (Bethesda, MD); PHP Healthcare (Reston, VA); and Humana (Chicago, IL). Dr. Kaplan had responsibility for a wide range of managed care activities in these roles, including utilization and quality management services for health plans and self-insured employer groups, clinical management of dual eligible Medicare and Medicaid populations, management of primary care and specialist networks and group practices and nurse practitioners, clinical oversight of community-based health centers, provider network development, physician credentialing, development and implementation of a hospitalist program, selection of pharmacy benefit and behavioral health providers and technology assessment. Ward Keever

Cary Leptuck

James Mead

Charles Sullivan

Dr. Terrill has served as a senior executive in the healthcare field in several capacities. His experience ranges from leading and managing hospital operations to planning and directing medical school and graduate medical education programs. While at KPMG Peat Marwick, his consultant group certified more than $2 billion dollars for the Tax-Exempt Bond market. Dr. Terrill has also served as principal and general manager of a national architectural design firm specializing in scientific and health industries and in operational capacities at Truman Medical Center, The Mountain States Regional Medical Program and The Summa Health System. In addition, he has served as a full-time faculty member and has planned and coordinated many and varied construction projects for new medical schools and their teaching hospitals. Dr. Terrill is a Fellow of the American Colleges of Health Care Executives and Medical Practice Executives. He is a graduate, with honors, of the University of Minnesota and holds a Masters degree in Medical and Hospital Administration and a Ph.D degree in University Administration from the University of Pittsburgh.

Michele Zujkowski

Ms. Zujkowski, a venture consultant, has assisted dozens of companies in their search for capital from private investors, venture capital, state and government sources, commercial banks and commercial finance companies. She has authored over 100 business plans in that connection and is proficient in creating oral and written presentations (from 8 minute venture fair presentations to 2 hour venture capital meetings) that clearly articulate business opportunities. She has also had substantial due diligence, fundraising and investor relations experience working for public and private entities, venture capital firms and their portfolio companies. Ms. Zujkowski also spent ten years as a commercial banker in a lending capacity; developed and taught bank-wide courses on financial statement analysis and creative loan structures; and was instrumental in the start up and management of the Private Banking Department at Meridian Bank.
